Guardian Auto Rentals Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all reservations, rentals, purchases, and other services provided by PMJ Management Group LLC DBA Guardian Auto Rentals (“Guardian Auto Rentals,” “Guardian,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, requesting a reservation, renting a vehicle, purchasing optional products or services, or otherwise doing business with Guardian, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply to all direct transactions with Guardian. Rentals arranged through third-party booking platforms may also be subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the applicable platform. Where mandatory platform requirements conflict with these Terms, those mandatory provisions shall control only to the extent required.

2. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle or use Guardian’s services, you must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, possess a valid driver’s license where required, provide accurate and complete information, and satisfy Guardian’s verification, payment, and eligibility requirements. Guardian reserves the right to refuse service or cancel any reservation for lawful business, safety, fraud prevention, payment, insurance, or operational reasons.
3. Reservations
Reservations are requests for service and are not guaranteed until accepted by Guardian. Vehicle availability, pricing, and optional equipment are subject to change without notice. Guardian may substitute a comparable vehicle when reasonably necessary due to maintenance, mechanical issues, delayed returns, recalls, or other operational circumstances.
4. Pricing & Payment
Rental rates, taxes, fees, optional products, and security deposits are disclosed during the reservation process. By providing payment information, you authorize Guardian and its payment processors to charge your payment method for all authorized amounts relating to your reservation or rental. Guardian reserves the right to correct pricing or calculation errors before or after a reservation is submitted.
5. Vehicle Rental Agreement
Every vehicle rental is governed by the Guardian Auto Rentals Vehicle Rental Agreement. Before taking possession of a vehicle, each renter must review and accept that Agreement. If a conflict exists between these Terms & Conditions and the Vehicle Rental Agreement regarding a rental transaction, the Vehicle Rental Agreement controls.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Reservations made directly with Guardian are governed by Guardian’s Cancellation Policy in effect at the time of booking. Reservations made through third-party booking platforms remain subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the applicable platform.
Unless otherwise required by law or approved by Guardian, same-day reservations are non-refundable.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Guardian’s website or services for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information, interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorized access, transmit malicious software, or engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct.
8. Communications
By providing your telephone number or email address, you consent to receive communications from Guardian regarding reservations, rentals, payments, customer service, and other transactional matters. Where permitted by law, you may also receive promotional communications, which you may opt out of at any time.
9. Privacy
Guardian collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
All content appearing on Guardian’s website, including logos, photographs, graphics, text, vehicle descriptions, branding, and software, is owned by or licensed to Guardian and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
11. Disclaimers
Guardian strives to maintain accurate information; however, vehicle availability, pricing, specifications, photographs, and website content may change without notice. Services are provided on an “as available” basis, and Guardian does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of its website or reservation systems.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guardian shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of its website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Ohio unless otherwise required by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
Guardian may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Revised Terms become effective upon posting unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of Guardian’s services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
